Review of Upside Down (2012) by Heather M — 01 Aug 2013

This movie was confusing. It had such a good idea, but I feel like it over-romanticized the upside down world, and it had story structure problems. Like sometimes it would go too fast, and sometimes it would go too slow.

There are plenty of good ideas, just found the execution kinda a mess. Some computer graphics were really stunning; like for example, when Adam fell from one ocean of one world out into the ocean of his world.

That was quite beautiful. Acting, of course, was A+ all around, given it is Jim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst in the main roles.
