Yes this movie is derivative of 109 other movies. What film isn't.
It's also pretty fun. Saw it last night not knowing anything about it. Theater was half full, and from what I could tell everyone liked it. One scene early is super violent and kind of funny. After the first person in the theater breathed again (I was holding my breath) and gave a chuckle the whole theater laughed out loud.
I saw this instead of giving Solo my money. Glad I did.
