Review of Upgrade (2018) by Joel H — 30 Aug 2018
Upgrade surprised me. It's an interesting mix of action and sci-fi horror, but it also has a pinch of comedy, which I wasn't expecting. The clever cinematography and editing keep you engaged, and Logan Marshall-Green (who is NOT Tom Hardy) is able to carry the film mostly on his own.
It's a darker movie, but it's also refreshing to see an original science fiction story.
