Review of Upgrade (2018) by Imthenoob — 15 Aug 2018

I love the premise, Whannell kills it as the director (making this low budget flick seem a lot more costly) and Logan plays a great lead role with a solid supporting cast. The movie does enough to keep you interested from start to finish with plenty of fun fight scenes and a solid plot.

While it's not the most original story ever told, Upgrade has so much originality and good things going for it that you can overlook its shortcomings (abrupt ending, predictable plot). It's definitely worth the watch and I hope it makes a killing on home video, Where I'm sure it's bound to be a cult classic.
