It is much more than what the trailer or synopsis makes you think it is. There are no plot holes here and being a person of logic I can rarely say that for movies. All lose dots get connected in the end.
Initially it comes off as a bunch of usual (sometimes cliche) sequences of the genre, but as the movie progresses they turn it all into a clever thing. It is somewhat like Ex Machina, but still fun to watch due to different setting.
