Excellent documentary that personalizes the creation of the Three Gorges Dam by examining the lives of workers who serve on a cruise ship that sails on the rapidly changing Yangtze River. The building of the dam will uproot the lives and homes of almost two million people, one of whom is Shui Yu (Cindy) whose family home will soon be underwater do to the rising river.
A superior piece on a man made environmental crisis brought to human terms.
