Review of Up Periscope (1959) by Allan C — 14 Sep 2012
Up Periscope is a hidden gem and a great film. It is about a Navy commando who is sent on a secret mission to photograph a Japaneses code book. James Garner and Edmond O'Brien give solid performances.
The screenplay is well written. Gordon Douglas did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama. Up Periscope is a must see.
