Review of Up in the Air (2009) by Penny L — 07 Jan 2012
Jason Reitman caught my eye in "Thank You For Smoking." He impressed me again in "Juno," but I didn't consider him one of my favorite directors until "Up in the Air" came out.
This couldn't have come out a more appropriate time, I mean just as many people were losing their jobs. Everything about this movie is perfect. Unlike many movies out there, it is real, real people, concerned with real problems.
Although there are laughs this will ultimately leave a lump in your throat.
