Fantastic movie. one of my favorites. no special effects. no "action". no eye candy. a simple adult movie exploring complex adult themes: loss, vanity, courage, ambition, fear, hope. it has it all wrapped in a fairly light package.
should have won best picture. watch it and enjoy.
