This happened to be on TBS last night. It's been quite sometime since I've seen it and hard to believe this movie came out in 1996. I remember seeing it in the theater.
The ending, something I avoided, but one that I appreciated when I first saw it...despite needing a number of tissues. Rather than being handed a fairytale ending, it was nice to get handed a something different. A something real as painful as it might be.
This I need to pick up on DVD as I only have it on VHS. I'm sure my copy is worn, if not warped. I picked up a lot of things to help me in the pacing of dramatic and emotionally charged fiction from this flick.
