Up isn't just an exceptional animated film, it's one of the best films of 2009, period. Pixar continues to prove its filmmakers thoroughly understand character, story, humor, and sentiment, and are able to wield them as effortlessly as their animators wield magnificent design and animation.
I cannot recommend Up enough.
