Somehow, someway, this gets a ten out of ten. It wasn't perfect, but then again looking back, it was absolutely wonderful to watch. Just a good movie, it was very cool, and it had lots of good stuff happening.
The old man in this movie was an anti-hero, just a regular, retired old fashioned man who finally gets to see the world and have an adventure that the young boys get to do more often, and it's nice to see that.
There was a lot of change in the 9 year old as well, he got better as the movie went by. And there was a likeable villain and mostly it was very enjoyable to see an old man live the dream rather than have more problems, it was very smart filmmaking and it was an astounding and touching movie with a powerful message about never giving up!
