Review of Up (2009) by Drake S — 20 Nov 2014

Up is my favorite Pixar movie because of its extremely well developed characters, beautiful visuals, and finding a way to make us feel pretty much every emotion possible. The beginning is sad as hell and the ending is happy as can be.

While all of Pixar's movies are creative, Up is definitely one of the most unique, I mean an old man uses balloons to float his house all the way to South America, and encounters talking dogs who can fly planes, a 10 foot tall rainbow bird and an insane explorer who should have died of old age by now, I mean who thinks of this kind of stuff? But this is only one of the reasons why Up is an exciting and heartwarming film that people of all ages can enjoy.
