Fronted by beautiful animation, a beautiful soundtrack and charming characters; Up is a beautiful film that one believes to be a tribute to Conan Doyle's The Lost World.
The soundtrack fully deserves its Oscar: Just listen to Married Life, if takes you through all the emotions that Ellie and Carl felt throughout their lives. It fits the scene perfectly.
The film effortlessly swings between delight, comedy and despair. It is this masterful writing that makes me heartily recommend this to anyone and everyone who enjoys great cinema.
