Review of Untraceable (2008) by Matt V — 26 Feb 2009
The one key element missing in "Untraceable": mystery. Not only that, but the whole investigation leading up to Diane Lane's discovery of the killer raises serious question marks. Ultimately the plot is interesting, feeling like a 'Saw' script that got thrown out and refurbished into this tightly-wound 90-minute thriller that is creepy and absorbing, but lacking originality, or much intrigue with its killer, which is a real letdown.
Otherwise, it's a completely implausible time-passer.
