Review of Untraceable (2008) by Alex R — 07 Jun 2010
I can see why this film received a 14% on the Tomatometer. This was so boring and uneventful that I just stopped watching it little more than half way through because, frankly, I did not care about anyone in this movie. The story was ruined in the middle because they showed who the killer was. I like not knowing who is murdering the victims until the end because it keeps me interested! The acting is mediocre and tired. No one seemed to actually care about the events that were happening except for Diane Keaton and Colin Hanks.
This is rated R for prolonged torture scenes. The torture scenes were fast and stupid. The concept of the more people that log on and watch this, the victim will die faster is pretty cool though. Overall, this is a terrible thriller with mediocre acting and a bad plot.
