Review of Unthinkable (2010) by Andres V — 12 Jan 2011
An intense film with plenty to think about once done watching it. Shows how messed up humans can get just to get information. Samuel L. Jackson great as all ways.
Human nature, ethics, and morality are questioned.
Ok so the film is about a terrorist that puts bombs all around the United States. He gives the FBI less then 5 days to look for all the bombs. The FBI captures the terrorist and doesn't want to talk. They decide to torture him to get him to talk. This is where the movie gets intense and graphic.During this the movie makes you reflect on what the term "torture to retrieve answers" means. Is it right to torture someone if it means too save several lives ? I found this motion picture amazing up to the end. The end left you hanging I mean I don't mind when movies do that but for this one I just wanted to know what happen next !!
The movie is great and people should check it out it. This movie will have you on the edge of your seat the whole time. This film will have you questioning if it was right what Samuel L. Jackson character was doing.
Is it worth hurting or killing one to save two ?
