Review of Unthinkable (2007) by Brad G — 12 Sep 2010
"If those bombs go off there will be no Constitution!!!!" BUM BUM BUMMMMMM!!!! Yeeeeeaaaaahhhhhh, the politics/morals of this film are a little wobbly, but honestly, Sam Jackson as the CIA torturer and Michael Sheen as the Muslim Nuclear terrorist are pretty much awesome.
Jackson hasn't really been this slick and cold since the good old days of The Long Kiss Goodnight and Die Hard: With a Vengeance. And Martin Sheen is just painful to watch with his screaming and ranting; he definitely puts you there in the room.
Still, the good cop/bad cop dynamics are a little tiresome and the climax is incredibly lame. VF.
