Review of Untamed Heart (1993) by Adam P — 27 Oct 2007
I kind of love this movie, despite the fact that it's about a guy and his baboon heart. Marisa Tomei is so completely charming and Rosie Perez is great as the sassy best friend. It does what so many tearjerker romances do and yet keeps things realistic and heartfelt, which is tricky when dealing with baboon hearts I imagine.
It balances things so well without becoming schmaltzy that it warrants a good cry, and if you're any kind of romantic, you will.
