Review of Unstoppable (2010) by Chris B — 25 Feb 2012
Every cliche ridden moment of this action thriller is enjoyable thanks to a decent building of tension, competetent performances (even if characters are one dimensional movie stereotypes) and a shed load of stunts.
Denzel Washington basically plays his character the same way he's played all his roles but it does add to film's likeablility having him (literally) aboard. The art-house cinema crowd will probably hate it but they're welcome to go watch a Sudanese film with subtitles about the day in the life of a shopping cart instead.
