Review of Unstoppable (2010) by Paul M — 09 Mar 2012
This movie is a pile of crap...Diesel engines DO NOT EXPLODE.. The railroad companies are not retarded enough to allow this safety violation. They have too many rules and regulations NOBODY WOULD JUST HOP OFF TO SET CHANGE A TRACK SETTING ..this is not a plausible movie..Hollywood needs to learn that NOT everything needs to explode. I do not work for nor have I ever worked for the railroad. But I know that modern locomotives are hybrid engines half diesel half electric. I like explosions as much as the next guy, but make movies realistic and believable. When the first locomotive tried stopping the train a good engineer would have maintained braking pressure and the guy on the helicopter line would have been able to climb aboard.
BOTTOM LINE..Don't waste your time and energy watching this if you want to watch a realistic movie...but if you want to indulge in the fantasy of Hollywood...here's a movie about a train that won't stop no matter what anybody tries. dopey dope a dope.
