Review of Unstoppable (2010) by Matthew A — 08 Jun 2012
Director Tony Scott hit the bulls-eye with this action flick about a runaway train racing through the Midwest. Unlike some of Scott's earlier films, he displays some cinematic restraint with his approach to the story.
He focuses on developing the two main characters played by Denzel Washington and Chris Pine. Both actors are rock solid as are the expected action sequences. This is a stripped down action flick from a man who normally shows no restraint.
