Review of Unstoppable (2010) by Dan H — 17 Jun 2012
Dumb predictable fun. Not much else to say really. Denzel Washington & Chris Pine do the best they can with what they get to work with, which is not a lot. One's a veteran railroader, the other a rookie; both with family problems.
Predictably by saving the day they fix their relationships. But this is all about the tension of whether 1000 tons of steel at 70mph carrying a toxic load is going to crash into their hometown or not.
With veteran action director Tony Scott at the controls, you're in for an exciting ride, even if some things make no sense at times.
