Review of Unstoppable (2010) by Scott W — 23 Feb 2013

Decent edge-of-your-seat type movie. It's definitely elevated by the presence of Denzel Washington, who seems to be having fun while he's cheating death. Like the runaway train, it takes a little while to build momentum but gets really rolling in the second half.

I could have done without the constant news reports, they just seemed unnecessary. I think the obvious comparison here is to Speed, which this is not nearly as good as. But it's good entertainment for 90 minutes.
