Unstoppable is a popcorn movie deluxe. It moves with a brisk pace thanks to Scott's efficient directing, and features some great acting from Pine and Washington. Yes, it's implausible as hell; yes, there is little character development or even a brain among any of the characters; but the thrills are there.
