Review of Unseen (2023) by Jluis_001 — 02 Apr 2023
Another expendable Blumhouse product that plays too much on absurdity to perform and thus needs a lot of suspension of disbelief from the viewer to make it not seem so improbable.
There are social issues buried in the plot that could have given it a better argumentative twist, but they are mere additions to settle the story and give it something more to make it not seem so empty, and that's a shame, because had they combined that with its narrative style and pacing, Unseen would be in better shape for both enjoyment and spectacle.
