Review of Unsane (2018) by Blaze F — 18 Sep 2018
My very first thought watching this movie was, EW it looks like shit! Turns out it was filmed on shit and iPhone 7. However, the acting was great and the story started off with a bang! It totally made me forget about the ugly cinematography.
Some of the camera angles/composition was genius it was just the lighting that made the movie an eye swore. However, once the story answered its own premise, the PACING began to drag. I was starting to fall asleep because I was watching Unsane off my laptop in bed.
I forced myself to complete it because I was hoping for a DOUBLE twist which unfortunately we didn't get. I wasn't satisfied with the story direction they went. This had such AMAZING potential and they hit the ball out of the park several times but were unable to finish the race strong :(.
