Review of Unrest (2006) by Anne S — 23 Aug 2007
Okay, using real dead bodies in movies is a bit too much.. (I was going to be a mortician, so I have no problem with them in and of themselves)..
However, so far I have watched 5 of the original 8 After Dark movies.. and this is the best yet.. (the other 3 look better, but they are always rented out) I didn't call the end early.. (I am normally pretty good at that), the acting was decent.. and the gore was.. not WAY over the top.. the cutting into real human bodies (that is not a lie in the ads.. those scenes had real cadavers) is a bit too real...but not unnecessary.. that is what Gross Human Anatomy IS.. it makes it more realistic.. (Now, what takes the realism away is that not once do you see them studying.. at that point in med school they would have SO much reading to do they wouldn't have time form much else..
Overall.. I'd say that if you want to start watching the After Dark Series.. start with this..
