Review of Unleashed (2005) by Annelies S — 29 Jan 2009

I loved to see Morgan Freeman playing a Ray Charles look alike! This movie started off rather violently and if it had continued like this I would have given it less than 2.5 stars. But the calm scenes were long and were much better than the violent ones, even though the latter ones had to be in the script somehow, to show Danny's background.

Curious though that character Bart (played by Bob Hoskins) survives a heavy car accident and bullet rain twice but dies when having a flower pot dropped on his hat! Funny. Well, maybe he was not dead.

Anyway I thought Jet Li's performance was very good. Worth watching!
