Jet Li can act! If "Once Upon a Time in China" didn't prove it, this movie will. This movie features 2 Academy award winners, Bob Hoskins and Morgan Freeman, yet Jet Li still owns the screen. The action stunts is great, Jet Li's best.
Playing a slave raised as a dog sounds so ridiculous, but it works when you watch the movie and explain the origin of the character. It's a stretch to see a pit bull raised to fight to turn non-violence, but the origin and love of music kind of explains it.
Only grips is that it's a Jet Li movie. I except at least 10 fight scenes. I think there only 6 or 7, but each fight is a bit longer then normal movie fights.
