In the bonus material jet li talks about how for this movie he had to change his fighting style from "jet li style to danny the dog style" because a dog (i'm thinking rotweiler/pit bull) attacks violently and just keeps attacking and doesn't stop.
that's how he fights. it's intense. I have to say that bob hoskins is too cool. I mean not in this movie, he's pretty psychotic, but in general. what I really like about this movie, cause the fighting is gobsmacking but not the best part, is when danny finally gets a chance at a normal life and he is so shy and sweet and sensitive.
like the kind of piano playing son you always wanted. not that I ever wanted that, but he so loveable. both times I saw this I wanted to hang in the peaceful life of morgan freeman and piano danny forever.
it was tranquil there....but I guess it's a more interesting story if bob hoskins shows up and kills everyone and then you fuck him up, riiiiiiggggghhhht?
