Review of Unleashed (2005) by Jen O — 18 Dec 2011
Unless you are highly against violence, Danny the dog is quite an entertainment. The punches and kicks look so realistic, hopefully the actors and stun men have sufficient medical insurance coverage.
Luc Besson injects some story line so the movie does not end up in the videos game section. It is quite disturbing to imagine a human being raised up like a dog, trained to attack whenever his collar is removed. Having A-list acting thespians like Morgan Freeman and Bob Hopkins on board is a plus. (although Freeman can do such a role in his sleep). For Jet Liâ(TM)s fans: suck this all up for it is probably one of aging Jetâ(TM)s last action movie where he flips and heaps without wire gadgetry.
