Review of Unleashed (2005) by Jesse Z — 28 Jul 2013
Unleashed starts out on a high note with a lot of action and a seemingly dark and psychological story, but the moments when Danny tries to fit into normal society weren't that emotionally gripping.
When Sam and Victoria are introduced to Danny it was difficult to invest in the three's emotional relationships. But despite that gripe and somewhat of a lack of action, the fight scenes were great, brutal and gritty, and provided some pretty great highlights amidst the rest of the film.
So the lessons of morality and scenes of emotion don't quite work, but the fight scenes help you throw that back out the window and enjoy yourself.
