All the usual cliches in place: the 'but he isn't dead yet', the cop car driving through an alley full of cardboard boxes, the buddy cops hanging out in a cafe where everyone knows them etc etc etc.
Liotta does his patent "smiley psycho" act again and Russell has yet another chance to do his "heroic hubby" thang.
In a word - tired.
