UNKNOWN (2006).

Directed by Simon Brand.

Starring James Caviezel, Greg Kinnear, Barry PepperFive men wakes up in some kind of factory/warehouse and they all dont know what they are doing there cause they suffer from amnesia. Thats how the movie starts. Soon we know there is a kidnapping plot involved and everything gets intriguing as the five men try to figure out which one of them are the bad guys and who are the good ones. They obviously dont trust each other and some tension happens.Unknown is nothing like Reservoir Dogs - an obvious inspiration - cause it never gets as intense as the Tarantino movie but the plot is interesting and it drags you in. As it slowly unfold we get to understand and slowly figure who is who at the same time as the characters but their actions are sometimes questionable. All actors give fairly good performances and the script is somehow clever, although better dialogues could have been expected and the editing is often annoying, The film was alright until the last minute, it was always interesting and the turns and twists are some how credible and make sense but the last three minutes just made it fail where it had almost previously succeeded during its short running time. Not bad but it will be easily forgotten.
