Review of Universal Soldier: Regeneration (2010) by Rudy A — 23 Feb 2010
I started watching it with a low expectation. I was surprised. It was actually pretty good! It's no longer the campy movie as the first one. The story was kept serious from beginning to the end. The action sequences were much more realistic and intense, especially the CQB scenes with Van Damme.
Dolph Lundgren was the only disposable character there. I'm not sure why the director even bothered bringing him back, where Dolph had said he didn't want to do the sequel. Overall, it's a great guy/popcorn flick.
