Surprisingly solid action flick that is arguably better than the original and should have been given a theatrical release. It really is sad that the film wasn't treated better by the studio when it was released.
It should have gone to theaters instead of direct to DVD/Blu Ray. JCVD does a fantastic job and the film is extremely competent and well made. From the script to the cinematography to the fight choreography, everything about the film just works.
It shouldn't, but it does.
