Review of Universal Soldier (1992) by Troy F — 01 Dec 2009
This movie was ok. It was sort of original, but sort of copied others. Two enemies, Van Damme and Lundgren, in Vietnam in the 1960s kill each other brutally in combat. They are brought back to life again decades later in 1992 as high-tech army soldiers controlled by computers.
Their memories were supposed to be erased, but their at one point come back and soon, they are both seeking each other again to kill each other. This movie some good action sequences, but nothing all that special.
Overall, a slightly decent sci-fi action thriller, but pretty predictable and not too memorable.
