It's astonishing how drawn in one can be with a true disaster story where the audience clearly knows the end. It's a challenging, uncomfortable watch and I think humanity is still too near the events of 9/11 to want to go see it on a big screen (obviously I'm wrong there) especially in the horrifically realistic way Greengrass depicts it.

This is an eye opening film played with sincerity and Paul Greengrass and co should be commended for not making it a Hollywood Blockbuster like Titanic and sticking close to the most dramatic version of all, the truth.
