Review of United 93 (2006) by Don S — 09 May 2010
Told from a different point of view than Flight 93. With this movie you get more of an overview of what was happening at various air traffic control towers, the FAA and the military. You see planes hit the tower, etc.
Flight 93 focuses more on what happened in the plane. Both are good movies; I preferred Flight 93. This movie took the heroism on the flight and covered it as if it was a peripheral storyline. The military and most air traffic controllers were made to look like buffoons.
Didn't care for that slant much at all. This didn't have near the emotional impact on me as Flight 93. Still, worth a watch.
