Review of Unicorn City (2012) by Amanda Y — 25 Feb 2012

I love it when geek films get it right. This film is so amazingly spot on with everything from D&D old-school dice rolls, to the games we all own in the background. We literally could not stop laughing.

If you are a geek of ANY type, this movie will hit home, and give you a serious case of nostalgia. What I loved most about it was that we took some "non-geeks" with us, and they enjoyed it just as much.

I hope this movie is one of those dark horse winners, because it was seriously funny. Someone must have gone to a LARP or did some research with the geeks, because it's the little things that cracked us up! I am going again tomorrow with a larger group to support this film.

YOU SHOULD TOO! By the way, I hope they build condos in Unicorn City, because I want to MOVE IN!
