Very well acted, but I found the friendship between Gena Rowlands and Marisa Tomei rather unlikely. It is a good film, but director Nick Cassavetes leaves too many things unfinished. A lot of the film is half-assed, partially developed.
It tries to handle too many issues and they don't tie in together well.
