Review of Unholy (2007) by Chris C — 30 Aug 2007
Unholy is an indie thriller-psuedo-horror that is "inspired by an actual military document found discussing elements of Nazi witchcraft that were smuggled into small town Pennsylvania following World War II by the U.
S. administration." It stars Nicholas Brendon, who some may know as Xander from Buffy fame. It's an interesting film that has a setup that proves intriguing but gets bogged down at points with exposition of the plot.
It tells rather than shows, pretty often. Overall though, it does provoke some thought and has some very cool twists.
