Nothing to do either with the metaphysical truck of "Duel" (Spielberg's debut in 1971), or with the explosion of sociopathic anger in "Falling Down" (Schumacher 1993). Borte is content to show us scenes of violence starting from two spouses devastated by their personal failure and engaged in a road rage rampage: she stressed and inept, he obese and with a single facial expression (Bell's palsy?).
