Review of Unfriended: Dark Web (2018) by Makaveli C — 29 Sep 2018

The first movie is far superior, and much more scary than this little sequel, but I still got a few disturbing chills out of this flick. For a very modest budget, the actors are all surprisingly good and the computer camera/ Skype found-footage techniques are just as well done as the first film.

What also makes the flick disturbing is that it deals with actual modern and even real themes, although they aren't as explored as I thought they would be. The problem is that the pacing is uneven, getting more interesting towards more the end.

But overall, it's a descent little horror movie, and fans of the genre should enjoy it.
