Review of Unfriended: Dark Web (2018) by Cliff K — 26 Jul 2018

I actually really liked this movie! It takes place in more of a reality than the previous film and it works. Some characters are stupid or hollow, but others you actually grow to like. There is some real mystery and fear in there without resorting to too many silly jump scares.

It speaks to a younger audience that grew up on computers as the film is constantly multi-tasking which is a really exciting and fresh style. I really recommend it, it's pretty well done if not perfect.

Movies with 200 times the budget are not nearly as creative or effective.
