Review of Unfriended (2015) by Thefallen1Goth — 06 Sep 2015
I had a friend recommend this to me, and honestly I don't see what the whole hype about this movie was. I'll give the story credit for being original (and some of the morbid deaths). The story takes place on Blaire's computer.
Being the tech-geek that I am, I spotted a LOT of errors (iMessage looked fake, the URLs in Blaire's browser had errors, etc). There were moments when I had butterflies in my stomach, but the entire movie was just death, arguments, drama and crying.
The thing that hit me the most was the fact that the ending was anticlimactic - we saw a Blaire-scare, so what? There are so many errors with the plot. The incapability for them to leave their freaking bedrooms astounds me.
Another one is HOW THE HECK DOES A FREAKING SPIRIT KNOW HOW TO USE A DAMN COMPUTER? I could go on about these flaws, but I'd reach the character limit after the fourth error. In my opinion, it kinda sucked.
