Review of Unfriended (2015) by Reysonpoint — 07 Jun 2015
Unfriended has one positive thing going for it and that is originality, other than that, there is not much else to it. Having the film centered around a computer screen and all that it encompasses turned out to be far more entertaining than I could have expected. With this said, there also could’ve been a lot more work done with this film to really enhance it as a whole. For example, it would’ve been nice to see some more character development either in the beginning or towards the end of the film between Laura and Blair. A better understanding of these two characters would’ve helped to establish a better connection with the audience that was greatly needed. Even though this film was very different, it was not enough to impress me and not something worth rushing to theatres for.
Final Score: 4.
