Seeing the trailers and couple of reviews I was very excited to see it! The movie's idea was already done in a movie called The Den, which I wanted to see even before Unfriended, but didn't get a chance yet.

It's very creative and a welcoming change over all those found footage horror movies lately. The movie follows a couple of friends who go on Skype thinking that they're going to have a nice little chat, but it all goes to hell when somebody invades their conversation using an account of a girl who has killed herself due to being publicly humiliated by a YouTube video of her getting drunk.

I love the idea of the movie and the execution is pretty good. It is very intense throughout and though it can get a bit dull in the middle, it picks up the pace in the last 30 minutes. Many secrets are revealed and many characters' fates are, too.

There isn't much gore and violence, most of the scary things that happen are psychological. The characters are at first likeable, but once you get to know their darkest and deepest secrets, you start to doubt if they are that likeable as you thought them to be in the first place.

The acting is great, you can really sense the fear in them and their reactions seem very real. The ending is okay. If it weren't for the last 6 seconds, it would've been so much better. I won't spoil anything because there is one big plot twist in the end that is pretty damn neat, I have to admit.

But, they should've stopped there, right after the twist is revealed. You'll see if you ever go and see this movie, which I recommend you do.
