Review of Unfriended (2014) by Megan V — 31 Aug 2015

I am a huge fan of found-footage movies, and after watching the Blair Witch Project, I felt this was a very good modern day adaptation. I love how the computer glitches and made mistakes like all computers do. Unlike the Blair Witch project, I though it moved too quickly. In the Blair Witch project if they ran a distance the shot lasted about as long as you would expect them to run that distance, whilst in Unfriended people would type and reply on iMessages too quickly and from that aspect it didn't feel real.

The scares were good, after about half way through the deaths got a bit predictable. However, I enjoyed the movie and am look forward to more from this cyber-horror genre.
